we’ve decided to make these stunning dishes available to buy separately, due to their size they may not be suitable as a set for everyone, but feel free to choose the full set option if you see it!
the general consensus is that for something to be vintage it must be over 20 years old, and this set just about scrapes it. made by ‘sainsburys for home’ we’ve delved deep into this specific makers mark and discovered that these were made between 2005-2011, putting them in the young vintage or almost there category.
regardless, it’s something you won’t find in any contemporary shop and a unique addition to any tableware collection.
each plate is 25×25cm, making the complete set when arranged together 50cm in diameter.
despite being almost 100 years old, this ceramic platter looks unbelievably modern and is in excellent condition. it’s a testament to how good design is timeless, and all trends are cyclical. we love the contrasting burgundy rim and the chic shape and would love to see this on stylish tablescape.
